MEP Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated MEP Superintendent to join our team, providing top-tier construction management, engineering, architectural, and program management solutions. Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications.
  • Assist with inspections for several ongoing projects at Clinton Correctional Facility and surrounding areas.
  • Inspect all materials upon arrival at the jobsite to ensure compliance.
  • Document inspections and report any issues.
  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time.
  • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project.
  • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet safety and compliance regulations of each job location.
  • Maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site.
  • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage workloads of individual projects.
  • Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings and cooperating with team members in various roles as necessary.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large-scale, multi-contract building projects.
  • Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan, monitor manpower and performance against that work plan, and perform a detailed comparison of the design drawings to ensure coordination between project trades.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with clients and construction contractors/subcontractors.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Proficiency in OGS, RFI, construction management, project coordination, project scheduling, project engineering, construction supervision, subcontractor management, safety management, general contractor, MEP, site construction, renovation, Procore.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with OGS projects, commercial construction, construction project management, document control, ground-up construction, construction safety, and inspection.
Work Environment

The role requires travel between multiple job sites, particularly working directly onsite. The work environment involves managing and overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Dress code may include attire suitable for construction sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
