Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

My client is an industry leading general contractor with a 60 year tradition of success. They are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their team, primarily focusing on handling change orders, RFIs, and submittals. This role involves collaborating with senior project managers and interfacing with clients for commercial fit-outs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Collaborate with senior project managers to ensure project success.
• Interface with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Conduct site visits as needed to oversee project progress and ensure quality standards.
• Support commercial fit-out projects by coordinating with various stakeholders.

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Strong background in construction management.
• Familiarity with general contracting and commercial construction processes.
• Competency in handling RFIs, change orders, and fit-out operations.

The position requires working on-site five days a week within a dynamic and growing construction company. This company has ten offices across the United States and is expanding its team in New Jersey. The work environment includes both office settings and occasional site visits to ensure successful project execution.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
