Their flagship platform integrates fuel cells, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power electronics to deliver autonomous energy management and intelligent control. Position Overview: The company is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team focused on the development and enhancement of its current and next- high-power microgrid systems. This role involves designing and optimizing power and control systems, supporting system integration, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless deployment and performance in diverse energy environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and optimize electrical circuits for high-power systems, emphasizing integration with fuel cells, BESS, and power management components. Develop and refine electrical designs for switching and control cabinets, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Lead the integration of advanced control and automation systems to enhance energy efficiency and system reliability. Support the implementation of intelligent control algorithms for dynamic energy scenarios, optimizing energy flow and system stability. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, performance improvement, and efficiency gains across the product line. Stay current with advancements in power electronics, control systems, and energy storage technologies. Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions. Ensure all designs meet applicable standards, including UL certifications and local/ compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product development, customer support, and controls engineering to deliver robust energy solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience. Strong expertise in three-phase high-power systems, energy storage, and/or microgrid technologies. Proficiency in power electronics design and simulation tools (e.g., PSpice, MATLAB/Simulink). Experience with control systems for energy management, including algorithm development and IoT integration. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving issues in power and control systems. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance for high-power systems. Knowledge of renewable energy systems, fuel cell technologies, or battery storage systems is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience in multidisciplinary environments. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, innovation-driven setting.
