Job Summary: Concrete Solutions Unlimited is seeking a skilled Concrete Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of concrete equipment, including but not limited to a Ligchine laser screed, skid loaders, and track skid loaders with laser graders. This position will also be responsible for the operation and continuous training of our Total Station. The candidate must be able to assist with equipment deliveries to various jobsites, snow removal, and may be asked to run small jobs as needed. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by following the proper industry procedures and wearing appropriate protective equipment when necessary. Hours: A typical workday is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, actual working hours and days may vary due to project deadlines; May require weekend or evening work at times. Perform daily inspections before and after use to ensure proper operation and safety. Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs; coordinate with mechanic for major issues. Clean and store equipment properly after use. Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed. Set up and operate the Total Station for layout and elevation control. Train team members on usage and safety protocols. Maintain calibration and troubleshoot technical issues. Stay updated on system enhancements and best practices. Follow project specifications and instructions from the site supervisor. Assist with equipment deliveries to and from jobsites. Run small jobs independently when assigned. Perform snow removal and other auxiliary tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope. Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions. Identify and report hazards or unsafe practices. Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards. Communicate equipment status, job progress, and any issues to supervisors and team members. Coordinate with site supervisors and crew on daily priorities. Support a respectful and cooperative team environment. Provide input and feedback to improve processes and outcomes. Qualifications: 1+ years' experience operating laser screeds and box graders Knowledge of various concrete equipment and their operation High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to read and interpret technical manuals Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to stand, walk, and lift materials in various weather conditions CDL preferred If this interests you or you know of someone who would be perfect for this job, apply online or in person at our office located at 4700 N Westport Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57107. #hc192701
