Millwright / Maintenance Person

Essential Nature of Job: Use your knowledge of Hydraulics, Electrical wiring, Fabrication and Component Installation to maintain maximum "uptime" in a modern sawmill facility. A "Fix it Before it Breaks" outlook and the ability to work with and communicate with machinery operators on a daily basis is required. -401k -Medical -Dental -Optical -Life -10 days Earned Time off annually Essential Job Duties: -Observe machinery and ensure that it is running at it's optimum performance. -Improve any machinery process currently in place. -Use hand and power tools to accomplish installs and repairs. -Use cutting torches / plasma cutters and welding supplies for fabrication and repairs. -Assist in creating a basic maintenance plan and execute it. -Assist in facility start up on a daily basis to ensure a safe and productive work day. -Work with and communicate with sub contractors when in use at facility. -Clean and maintain industrial air compressors. -Clean and maintain industrial hydraulic pumps. -Clean and maintain Electric Drives. 25-200 hp -Clean and maintain small roll cases and live decks. -Work with basic controls systems to aid in manufacturing process.
