Qualifications and responsibilities for this Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) position include: Must hold an active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license (Oregon preferred; open to relocation or remote licensure discussions). Minimum of 3-5 years of land surveying experience, particularly in residential boundary and construction projects. Proficiency in Carlson Software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D; field equipment knowledge of Trimble and Sokkia. Responsible for reviewing, signing, and certifying survey data collected by field teams and drones. Must work onsite in Tigard (no WFH); willing to engage in occasional site visits if necessary. Work collaboratively with drafters, CAD techs, and party chiefs; may assist in mentoring junior staff. Strong understanding of drone-collected data and its application in land surveying workflows. Technologically savvy and committed to innovation in surveying practices and solutions. Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
