Machine Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Machine Operator responsible for overseeing roll wrapping machines, a crucial step in the production process. This role requires a focus on quality and detail and involves loading large spools of cable and adjusting machinery as needed to adhere to production schedules. Responsibilities Operate roll wrapping machines and oversee the majority of the production process. Pay close attention to quality and detail. Load large spools of cable and adjust machines as necessary. Follow daily production schedules. Lift up to 50 lbs as required. Essential Skills Machine operation experience and a manufacturing background . Mechanically inclined with skills in hand and power tools. Work Environment Work in a privately held wire and cable manufacturing company serving diverse markets such as Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Commercial Construction, Marine, Oil, Gas, and more. Enjoy a collaborative work environment with newly expanded production facilities. The company operates three shifts: 1st shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, and 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensenville, Illinois. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
