Project/Site Manager (Construction) (Habitat for Humanity of Rockland) Type: Other Jurisdictions Salary/Pay Rate: Not specified Posted Date: 07/31/2025 3:09 PM Habitat For Humanity of Rockland is seeking a Project/Site Manager (Construction) who will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential construction project along with our A Brush with Kindness projects home repair initiatives, which include building ramps, decks, handrails and other critical accessibility improvements. We are seeking someone who can effectively manage these projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to Habitat's quality standards. This includes managing staff and volunteers, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, procuring materials, and ensuring site safety. The Project Manager will serve as the central point of communication among staff, volunteers, inspectors and vendors. What We're Looking For Hands-on leadership experience in construction Strong organizational skills to coordinate teams and maintain project timelines Experience managing volunteers and overseeing site safety Budget management and stakeholder communication abilities Passion for building homes and community development Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in residential construction management or a similar role Ability to read construction drawings, scopes of work, and technical specifications Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong verbal and written communication skills (bilingual a plus) Familiarity with OSHA regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, construction scheduling software, and/or mobile apps Other Requirements and Information: Manage all phases of construction for the new home build and ABWK projects Ensure work meets quality, safety, and code standards (local, HFHI, and OSHA) Must complete Habitat for Humanity International's Competent Person certification within the first 7 days of employment Maintain construction timelines and ensure projects are completed as scheduled Monitor project budgets, review invoices, and track expenses for cost control Order materials and schedule deliveries, with support from staff; coordinate labor and subcontracted work Lead or delegate daily safety/toolbox meetings with volunteers and workers Train, supervise, and support volunteers and skilled labor on the job site Salary and Benefits: Salary: Not specified Schedule: Part-Time / As Required Work Environment: On Site / Hybrid Schedule How to Apply: Email resume to Habitat of Rockland Executive Director, Lisa Laskowski at: Position open until filled.
