Electrician Details:

Temporary position

$28.00 /hour

Full Time work available

Weekend work required

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

Duties:

Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a Ethernet, coaxial, and fiber optic cables

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Route cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits in accordance with building codes and project specifications

Install and label patch panels, network jacks, faceplates, and cable trays

Perform cable testing, certification, and documentation using proper testing equipment

Troubleshoot and repair issues with communication systems

Ensure compliance with local and national electrical and low-voltage codes

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly manner

Collaborate with IT personnel, contractors, and other trades as needed

Electrician Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Valid state electrician license (Journeyman or higher)

3+ years of electrical experience

Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Skilled in installation, repair, and troubleshooting

Familiar with hand and power tools OSHA 10/30 certification (preferred)

Strong attention to safety and detail

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work on ladders

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
