You will be the Project Engineer for the Improve the Business (ITB) team. Our team is responsible for integrating and deploying digitally-enabled capabilities to advance our position as the worlds Aerospace and Defense leader.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for facilitating events related to our MFC transformation efforts, providing coordination and facilitation of structured improvement activities, managing execution of actions that come out of those activities, and implementing and leading change in process and people.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating transformation-related events and workshops that drive structured improvement activities.
- Coordinating across functional teams to execute on action plans, track progress, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
- Supporting enterprise initiatives such as Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) implementation, Business Intelligence Plus (BI+), and program-specific improvement efforts.
- Translating abstract or ambiguous concepts into structure, executable future-state processes.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while effectively influencing and aligning with leadership at all levels. .
- Serving as a change agent and thought partner in evolving the way we work though innovation, collaboration, and digitalization..

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.
Experience in project engineering, business process improvement, digital transformation, kaizen events, continuous improvement, structure improvement and/or enterprise change initiative
Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects or initiatives simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to technical and executive audiences.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to translate abstract ideas into actionable plans and scalable solutions. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment and drive consensus across stakeholders
Lean six sigma Green Belt certified.
Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops and structured improvement events.
Design Thinking trained.
Change Management experience.
Experience working in Agile environment
Experience working with Jira, MS Teams, SharePoint, MURAL, Confluence, etc.
