As a Facilities Supervisor , you will lead a team of technicians responsible for maintaining the factory building, surrounding premises, and production plant services. Youll oversee preventive maintenance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in facility operations, safety, and efficiency.
What will you do?- Manage preventive and routine maintenance, equipment overhauls, and emergency repairs for buildings and utility systems.
- Oversee janitorial services and grounds maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and maintain all required permits.
- Serve as liaison with public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and construction work complies with applicable codes and regulations.
- Act as Safety Officer, ensuring all employees receive formal safety training and understand hazard prevention measures.
- Maintain operational flexibility of the building and implement improvements for higher efficiency in plant utilities.
- Oversee all aspects of electrical safety.
- Plan and manage monthly budgets accurately.
- Coordinate facility work to meet specifications, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Support the Functional Manager with daily operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost, performance, and efficiency of facilities operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 47 years of related experience in facilities management or a similar field.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
- Strong understanding of global and regional logistics operations.
- Ability to assess and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
- Strong financial and analytical skills; experience managing business analytics.
- Knowledge of international tax and customs regulations.
- Proven success in change management and cost reduction initiatives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email tools.
- Experience managing environmental compliance programs.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety training programs.
- Background in electrical systems and plant utility operations.
