Skilled Laborer

We are a general contractor hiring skilled individuals. The ideal candidate will have
2-3 years of experience in room additions and remodels.
Plumbing includes installing and assembling plumbing fixtures, sinks, angle stop
replacement, and appliance installs. The following skills are not required but are a plus:
drain cleaning/camera, soldering, knowledge of pro-press (copper and PEX)
Electrical: Receptacle and switch replacement, fixture installs. The following skills are not
required but are a plus: Minor troubleshooting, running new circuits, breaker repairs, etc.
Finish carpentry: Base, case, doors, door jambs, trim. The following skills are not required
but are a plus: Crown molding, Cabinet installation, and cabinet building.
Framing: Door and window headers, new non-bearing walls, pony walls, and repairs. The
following skills are not required but are a plus: Ability to read plans, frame off plans, and
create material lists for jobs. Shore load-bearing walls for beam installs. Steel stud framing.
Installation tasks include installing and assembling various fixtures, shelves, blinds, sinks,
hardware, and appliances.
Painting interior and exterior paint, drywall patch, and texture. Drywall installation
The following skills are not required but are a plus: HVAC, carpet, LVP, ceramic tile, leak
detection, stucco, concrete, roofing, waterproofing, glazing, deck repair, fencing, welding,
automotive repair, minor engine repair(tools).
Skills and qualifications:
Practical skills: A strong foundation in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other trades is
crucial. Sound judgment and the ability to think on your feet are essential.
Tool proficiency: need to be comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
Basic knowledge of materials and safety measures.
Physical fitness: The job may involve physical activity, including lifting, carrying 75-100lbs, and
working on ladders and in tight spaces.
Attention to detail: Ensuring quality workmanship and completing tasks to a high standard is
essential.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting: assessing issues, determine the best course of action,
and implement solutions.
Communication skills: Clear communication with clients and supervisors is vital. Must speak
English.
