Job Posting: Commercial Drywall Project Manager
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

We have partnered with a well-established commercial drywall contractor actively seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drywall and metal stud framing project management , coupled with solid estimating capabilities—especially for change orders and scope modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of drywall and metal stud framing projects from preconstruction through closeout

  • Coordinate with clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery

  • Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports

  • Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to execute project scope accurately

  • Handle all estimating responsibilities related to change orders, scope revisions, and minor takeoffs as needed

  • Conduct regular site visits and team meetings to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with plans

  • Lead and mentor field staff, foremen, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle

  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring client satisfaction and profitability



Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience managing commercial drywall and framing projects

  • Proven ability to estimate project costs and complete timely change orders

  • Strong portfolio of successful mid- to large-scale commercial drywall projects

  • Demonstrated track record of tenure and commitment in previous roles

  • Proficient in project management and estimating software (OST, QuickBid, or similar preferred)

  • Solid understanding of local building codes, industry practices, and construction documents

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
