**Forklift Operator - $19.50/hr**

**2nd Shift (5:30pm- 2:30am)**

**Job Description**

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating sit down forklifts, specifically Toyota electric models, and using handheld scanners for inventory management. The pace of work involves six unloads per hour with a structured timeline of 30 minutes to remove products from trucks and another 30 minutes to relocate materials across the warehouse floor.

**Responsibilities**

+ Load and unload trucks efficiently.

+ Operate sit down forklifts, specifically Toyota electric models.

+ Use handheld terminal scanners for inventory tracking.

+ Maintain a fast-paced workflow with six unloads per hour.

+ Ensure timely removal of products from trucks and relocation of materials within the warehouse.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of one year of experience operating sit down forklifts in a fast-paced, cross-dock environment.

+ Proficiency in using RF scanners.

+ Strong material handling skills.

+ Experience in loading operations.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with handscanners.

+ Previous forklift experience from material handling or loading operations.

**Work Environment**

You will be working the 2nd shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM. The warehouse is not climate controlled, resulting in warm conditions during the summer and cold conditions during the winter.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, Ohio.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
