HVAC Technician Job Description This hands-on role covers everything from chillers and freezers to air quality systems, ensuring our clinical environment runs safely and smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems, plus handle essential plumbing tasks and support renovations when needed. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC and mechanical systems to maintain optimal functioning. Conduct essential plumbing tasks to support facility operations. Participate in and support renovation projects as required. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards in all tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in HVAC maintenance and repair. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with plumbing tasks and boiler maintenance. Ability to perform preventive maintenance effectively. Knowledge of EPA regulations and air conditioning systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications EPA Universal certification. Experience with sheet metal and ductwork installations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
