Welder/Fabricator**
**Job Description**
This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with construction labor experience, whether skilled or unskilled, to enter the iron working trade. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in carpentry, iron working, welding, or sheet metal on commercial construction sites. During the six-month contract, candidates will work as general laborers on current projects and receive training to become iron workers. Successful completion of the contract will lead to a full-time position as an iron worker.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist with site set-up, clean-up, and break-down.
+ Support the foreman with various labor tasks on site.
+ Transport equipment to different parts of the site for skilled workers.
+ Shadow skilled laborers to learn the trade and operational procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Construction labor experience in a commercial setting.
+ Carpentry, iron working, welding, or sheet metal skills.
+ Reliable transportation for daily commute to the site.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Willingness to learn and develop skills in iron working.
+ Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

**Work Environment**

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
