Design Engineer

Nesco Resource is working with their client in Carmel NY to identify a qualified Design Engineer to join their team for a full-time role.

Job Responsibilities

• Design custom aviation ground support test equipment and engine test cells
• Develop machine part and assembly drawings for pneumatic, hydraulic, power generation, mechanical electrical test stands and test cells

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience with SOLIDWORKS in similar capacity (designing industrial or aerospace machinery)
• Minimum associate’s degree in design/drafting or BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery design and hardware, including fits and tolerances and mechanical hardware, materials
• AutoCAD (2D) experience a plus but not required
• Dedicated, hard-working and willing to learn other aspects of test equipment – small business looking for self-motivated, self-starter, willing to learn
