Construction Superintendent $38/HR ATLANTA & SAVANNAH START ASAP
We are hiring experienced Construction Superintendents to lead field operations on active projects in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing crews, coordinating site activities, ensuring compliance with project specs and safety standards, and maintaining construction schedules.
Pay: $38.00/hour
Locations: Atlanta, GA & Savannah, GA
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday (occasional weekends)
Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly
Travel: Some local travel required between sites
Key Responsibilities:
Site Oversight: Manage daily site activities for subcontractors, foremen, and laborers to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality work
Material Coordination: Schedule and manage deliveries of materials and rental equipment in collaboration with the Project Manager
Scheduling: Assist with the creation and execution of project schedules; assign tasks, track hours, and report progress in Procore
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site walks, identify and document inefficiencies, and perform inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
Safety Leadership: Enforce all OSHA and company safety protocols; lead toolbox talks and safety meetings; record all incidents and near misses
Reporting: Maintain daily logs using Procore, track quantities, hours worked, and % complete, and report weather delays or scope changes
Communication: Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Project Managers, Consultants, Property Managers, and Field Staff
Team Management: Lead by example and maintain a positive, high-performance culture among trades and labor
Risk & Equipment Management: Ensure jobsite security, manage crew sizes vs. available hours, and ensure proper operation of aerial lifts, swing stages, and scaffolds
Compliance & Documentation: Stay current on all company and OSHA certifications; input RFIs and jobsite issues in Procore in a timely manner
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years as a Construction Superintendent on commercial or restoration projects
Strong knowledge of:
Coatings (traditional + deck)
Concrete restoration
Window & door removal/install
Caulking, sealants, wet glazing
Epoxy/urethane injection
Carbon fiber reinforcement
Swing stage and scaffold operations
Certifications (required or willing to obtain):
OSHA 10 & OSHA 30
Procore Superintendent Certification
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Procore (daily logs, RFIs, scheduling)
Able to read blueprints, spec sheets, and bid documents
Physically fit to work outdoors and climb, lift, and stand throughout the workday
Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
