Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

Introduction
A major utility organization is seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect (EIA) / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support high-level planning and execution of IT platform and cybersecurity improvements. This role will provide expert guidance in network, telephony, cloud, endpoint protection, virtualization, disaster recovery, and application security to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen cybersecurity posture. Assignments are task-focused and will augment the internal IT staff with industry-leading knowledge on specialized issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technology and information assurance-related problems, providing engineering and technical support to develop solutions.

• Develop architecture diagrams and implementation plans for large IT initiatives.

• Provide subject matter expertise and support for smaller IT and cybersecurity issues.

• Perform analysis and provide recommendations on IT platform solutions.

• Advise IT and cybersecurity leadership on technology trends, emerging tools, and best practices in support of technology modernization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise as an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect or comparable role, with broad, high-level knowledge of IT platforms and cybersecurity.

• Experience in architecture planning and implementation for network, telephony, cloud, endpoint protection, virtualization, disaster recovery, and enterprise applications.

• Ability to analyze and recommend solutions for complex IT and security challenges.

• Familiarity with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and operational efficiency improvements in enterprise infrastructure.

• Strong communication skills for presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
