Traveling Superintendent

Join a reputable construction firm known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee a 5-month project in Paducah, KY, focusing on site preparation, foundation work, utilities, and the setting of modular buildings. This role requires a self-starter who is organized, technology-driven, and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on the job site.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors.
• Ensure timely completion of site work, foundations, and utility connections.
• Maintain daily reports including weather, attendance, and progress.
• Communicate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders.
• Utilize construction management software to update project status.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.

• 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial ground-up construction.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
• Strong organizational skills and technology-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage subcontractors.
• Willingness to be on-site in Paducah, KY.
• Responsible and reliable with routine work habits.

• Experience with site work, foundations, and utilities.
• Open to long-term employment and potential relocation.
• Experience with modular building projects.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Familiarity with grocery store or retail ground-up construction.
• Previous experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car projects.

Work on-site in Paducah, KY, from Monday through Friday. All technology required for the job will be provided. If residing 50 or more miles from the site, a per diem of $3,200 per month is offered. Travel home is flexible as long as on-site presence is maintained on Fridays and first thing Monday. For long-term hires relocating to Lafayette, Indiana, additional benefits include a truck allowance and a credit card for gas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $94000.00/hr.
