Location: Bellingham, WA
Full-Time | 4050 Hours/Week
$25.00 $35.00 per hour

A-1 Welding, a well-established structural steel fabrication shop, is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Fitter/Fabricator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented fabricator with shop welding experience and a strong work ethic.
WABO/AWS Certification is preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
Perform basic metal fabrication tasks: cutting, grinding, drilling, shearing, and fit-up
Weld using dual shield process (FCAW-G)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:
WABO Certification Preferred
AWS Certification Preferred
At least 5 years of welding and fitting experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed
Strong commitment to workplace safety
