**Job Description**

We are seeking a roofer with sheet metal experience to supervise and coordinate the activities of craft personnel engaged in the fabrication, installation, and repair of sheet metal products, systems, and structures. Our company specializes in all aspects of commercial and industrial roofing, including new construction, renovations, remodels, and additions.

**Responsibilities**

+ Plan, organize, schedule, supervise, and inspect the work of skilled roofers and trades helpers engaged in covering roofs with roofing materials.

+ Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.

+ Review and evaluate roofing shop work progress and oversee administrative functions such as hiring and writing annual performance evaluations.

+ Inspect re-roofing, installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems to ensure conformance to specifications.

+ Perform infrared and thermal inspections of roofing systems to determine water infiltration.

+ Evaluate and determine requirements and material needs for various projects and order materials accordingly.

+ Maintain maintenance and roof system warranty logs and meet with bonding company representatives regarding roofs under warranty.

+ Work directly under the General Manager and communicate daily on current and upcoming projects.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2-5 years of experience in flat and metal work.

+ Experience overseeing others in commercial or residential industries.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.

+ Ability to work independently and follow directions.

+ Reliability with no attendance issues.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in construction, carpentry, framing, finish carpentry, rough carpentry, roofing, siding, exteriors, sheet metal, installation, repair, tear off, concrete, and drywall.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
