The Superintendent leads all day-to-day job-site activities and assures all safety and code requirements are met for assigned projects. This position requires leadership, communication, management systems and problem solving skills. The Superintendent will work with executive management, project managers, assistant project managers and project support staff to deliver on company promises to clients for progress, completion and quality. He/she will be an adept liaison to owners, architects and subcontractors and will inspire subcontractor and vendor performance and great workmanship. Through utilization of state-of-the-art management systems, the successful candidate will leverage extensive experience/knowledge and deploy extraordinary motivational skills to provide exemplary customer service and on-time/in budget delivery performance. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead subcontractor work assuring compliance with budget, schedule, quality and execution in accordance with OSHA regulations and building codes.
- Set and inspire high expectations for quality work execution from subs.
- Forecast, resolve and meet all interim milestones.
- Ensure product delivery pipeline is being managed properly for on-time delivery of all materials.
- Assume full responsibility for final close-out and completion.
- Work with municipal building department authorities to assure construction meets codes and all permits including occupancy permits, are obtained on-time.
- Assure subcontractor compliance with our safety program through daily inspections.
- Preside at weekly Subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Instrumental in schedule development and maintenance, and in the development of scopes of work.
- Create and maintain jobsite logistics.
- Review of requisitions with project management team.
- Coordination and orchestration of all trade installations.
- Capability to read plans & details and prepare daily job reports.
- Understanding of Chapter 33 of the NYC Site Safety code.
- Facilitate and conduct NYC DOB inspections.
- Understand budgetary concerns for project.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- 5-20 years of experience in construction related field.
- Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) required or Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) preferred. Field of Study: Engineering, architecture, construction management or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Procore.
- OSHA 30, 62 Hour SST, and other necessary safety credentials.
