Manager of Construction Funding
Position Summary
The Manager of Construction Funding manages the overall operation of commercial construction funding. Coordinates department resources to ensure funding productivity meets demand. Reviews and approves draw requests and coordinates with lending staff. Directs & coordinates the annual budget process for applicable areas including responding to monthly variances. Responsible for the guidance of the department on the requirements of all regulations/ compliance related to particular area. Ensures all policies, procedures and practices of the department are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages and directs the daily operations of Commerical Construction Funding by supervising, managing, training, and directing work assignments and performance development, including disciplinary action of departmental staff.
Review and approve construction draw requests and communicate with lending staff to resolve issues
Manages the risk and operational functions of specific area(s) to ensure correct policies and procedures are followed and systems are functioning properly.
Directs the daily, monthly and quarterly reconciliations for specific area(s).
Coordinates the effort of maintaining adequate compliance on rules, regulations, audit, training and education for departments.
Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial report and/or legal documents.
Ability to write routine reports, procedures and business correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors
Education and/or Experience
BS/BA Degree preferred or equivalent in education and/or experience
Supervisory experience preferred
2-4 years' experience in Construction Funding required
Computer Skills
MS Office programs
Applicable software for funding analysis
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
