Woodshop Foreman - Custom Millwork & CNC Specialist Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Woodshop Foreman to lead our custom millwork team. This role is ideal for a seasoned woodworking professional with strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with CNC equipment, and a solid understanding of AutoCAD. You'll oversee daily shop operations, ensure quality craftsmanship, and help drive production efficiency in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. This role will pay $40 at least an hour if you hold all of these skills and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the woodshop team, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met. Interpret architectural and shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide production. Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including CNC routers, saws, milling, and sanding equipment. Program and operate CNC woodworking machines (preferably Biesse) and ensure proper maintenance and calibration. Utilize AutoCAD and CNC design software to create and modify production files. Conduct material take-offs and manage inventory for upcoming projects. Train and mentor junior carpenters and machine operators. Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with project managers and installers to ensure seamless workflow from shop to site. Required Skills & Qualifications 10+ years of experience in woodworking, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role. Proficiency in CNC programming and operation. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and CNC design software. Ability to read and interpret detailed architectural and shop drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Experience with Biesse CNC machines is a strong plus. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
