RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategic business plans to accelerate market growth and profitability.Lead efforts to identify and onboard new customers in the Medical and Healthcare marketsPlay a key role in supporting mergers and acquisitions that align with long-term business objectives.Responsible for execution of strategies to drive business growth, focusing on the acquisition of new customers in the Medical SectorDesign and implement targeted marketing initiatives to generate demand and enhance brand visibility.Collaborate on the creation of persuasive proposals and quoting tools that drive customer engagement and protect margins.Manage and expand strategic customer accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.Partner and collaborate to deliver accurate, competitive pricing and proposals.Lead the development of high-impact presentations, proposals, and RFP responses tailored to customer needs.Oversee the full sales cycle-from prospecting to quoting-ensuring consistent execution and follow-through.Foster accountability across teams by delegating effectively and driving results.Build and nurture strong relationships with new customers to support long-term growth.Regularly assess and refine business development and marketing strategies to stay ahead of industry trends.Partner with the quoting team to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with strategic goals.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY & SKILLS
A strong background in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), Contract Manufacturing (CM), or electronics OEM environments is required.This role is specifically focused on expanding our market share in our Medical MarketThis role is remote but strong preference given to Minneapolis or Texas based candidates10+ years of proven success in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry, with deep expertise selling into Medical OEMsThe successful candidate should be driving growth, managing complex customer relationships, and delivering high-value solutions.Proven success in business development leadership roles.Experience navigating complex sales cycles and building relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.Work closely with Design engineering, Supply Chain, and Quote teams to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive pricing on all quotes and proposals,Assist and provide market guidance on pricing proposals and quotationsStrong background in continuous improvement, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.Proven ability to lead complex initiatives, influence stakeholders, and deliver results under pressure.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Solid financial acumen and a deep understanding of commercial terms and cost models.Travel requirements: 30-50%
