Leidos offers a voluntary well-being benefit program to help support employees on their personal wellness journey and earn rewards. # R-00162923 Position summary hematics and layouts using AutoCAD Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ABS, DNV, IEEE, USCG, and IMO regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate subsystems into maritime platforms Support prototype development, testing, and field deployment Conduct verification and validation activities for marine electrical systems Prepare detailed technical documentation, including test plans and reports Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to improve reliability and performance Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and documentation Strong understanding of analog/digital circuit design and power distribution Willingness to travel for field testing and integration Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of shipboard and marine electrical systems Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), SCADA, and embedded control systems Familiarity with Altium Designer or similar PCB design and layout tools Knowledge of MIL-STD electrical design practices Prior experience supporting DoD or naval programs Knowledge of cybersecurity principles as applied to industrial control systems and automation environments Familiarity with shipboard networking protocols (NMEA 2000, Modbus, CANbus) Original Posting: July 21, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
