Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life; oversee repairs and emergency maintenance as needed. Review inspections of building and industrial systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure the operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client. Oversee compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety. Operate company-issued vehicles in the execution of daily work responsibilities. in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. Work within broad guidelines and policies. Explain difficult or sensitive information. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To perform this job effectively, an individual should be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. Commercial HVAC and Facilities systems maintenance and repair. Perform assigned repairs, emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance. Provide Plumbing, Electrical, and Lighting maintenance Universal CFC certification required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Proven experience as a building engineer; minimum of four years. Google Suite Mobile maintenance experience highly preferred. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks. CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES Preferred certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair as well as CFC Certification. OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) WHY CBRE? Internal advancement available after 6 month mark The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The negotiated rate for the role is $82,472 annually [or $39.65 per hour]. Please refer to the Collective Bargaining Agreement regarding pay scale and benefits.
