Established Trucking Company is seeking Full-Time Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Remove components for repair or replacement such as, but not limited to, injectors, starters, water pumps, radiators, brakes, Tires etc.
- Knowledge of Light and Heavy Duty vehicle engines, emission systems, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems to perform preventative and repair functions, on site and on the road
- Engine chassis repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of Light and Heavy Duty vehicle body control systems, including hydraulic and electrical systems to maintain and repair the vehicles in a timely and safe manner
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems to effectively diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems in the vehicles in a timely and safe manner
- Identify the source of the malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools
- Ensure fleet meets DOT regulations and safety standards, preventative maintenance
- Knowledge of Cummins engines and Emissions Systems
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver's License
- Vocational Certification / Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years Mechanical experience - VERIFIABLE
- Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening
