The Maintenance and Reliability Senior Supervisor will supervise and execute the deployment of overall leading maintenance practices aligned to production needs. In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities to maintain and improve capacity utilization and quality standards realized through reliable operations across the region.
Key Accountabilities- Direct accountability, leadership and oversight of maintenance staff, including planners, coordinators, administrators and internal and external crafts to achieve reliability objectives for an oilseed crush plant, biodiesel facility, vegetable oil refinery, packaging facility or similar combination.
- Responsible to the Facility Superintendent for increasing plant reliability, performance efficiency, minimizing unscheduled/unplanned plant interruptions and reducing costs associated to failures. Responsible for employee engagement by building positive working relationships and an environment where employees will want to offer their ideas.
- Develop and improve skill sets of internal craft resources. Execute correct application of reliability strategies such as equipment maintenance strategies, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), on-condition and predictive technologies (PdM), reliability centered maintenance (RCM), capitalized asset replacement, craft skills development, planning, scheduling, warehousing and purchasing processes, kaizen, precision maintenance and cause analysis with the purpose to prevent functional failure of assets.
- This position will supervise, manage and coordinate the execution of the maintenance schedule ensuring safety, quality and precision while maximizing craft efficiency by preparing and ensuring the equipment is ready and all parts, special tools, equipment and permits are available before crafts people are deployed.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and oversee coordination of proactive and reactive activities on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience managing tasks across multiple crafts (electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
- Minimum four years experience utilizing maintenance/reliability strategies (planning, scheduling, cause analysis, predictive maintenance technologies, Reliability Excellence, RCM, etc.) and related tools/metrics
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- Two years of supervisory experience
