Maintenance Mechanic**

**Job Description**

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing bakery equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely to meet production goals.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on bakery equipment.

+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.

+ Repair and replace defective parts, components, and conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.

+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

+ Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

+ Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.

+ Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly with pneumatic driven equipment.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

+ Proficiency in using fabrication equipment such as lathes, mills, drill press, TIG and MIG welding.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
