Job Posting: Commercial Drywall Estimator

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 annually

We are actively seeking a Commercial Drywall Estimator with 5-10 years of experience in commercial drywall estimating and project management. This is a full-time opportunity with a well-established and reputable commercial contractor known for delivering high-quality interior construction projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling projects

Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and project documents

Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing using industry-standard software

Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams for pricing and procurement

Participate in pre-construction meetings and hand-off to project management teams

Manage awarded projects, maintain budgets, and monitor schedules

Build and maintain relationships with GCs, architects, and clients

Requirements:

5-10 years of commercial drywall estimating and project management experience

Strong understanding of bid work and the ability to transition into managing awarded work

Solid track record of professional tenure with previous employers

Familiarity with industry software (OST, QuickBid, Bluebeam, or similar)

Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
