We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team in Alexandria Bay, NY. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to manage carpentry teams and projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of carpentry projects, ensuring quality and timely completion.
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
Perform hands-on carpentry tasks, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and other custom builds.
Supervise and mentor junior carpenters, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project expectations are met.
Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
Inspect and troubleshoot any issues, ensuring work meets quality standards.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional carpentry experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using carpentry tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
