HVAC Installer**

**Job Description**

The Commercial HVAC Installer is tasked with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings. This role demands a strong understanding of HVAC systems, attention to detail, and proficiency in working with sheet metal, piping systems, and refrigeration systems.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install HVAC systems, including ductwork, units, and thermostats, following blueprints and technical diagrams.

+ Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and checking system pressure to ensure efficient operation.

+ Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in case of failure or breakdown.

+ Ensure HVAC systems comply with safety and environmental regulations.

+ Collaborate with other professionals like electricians and plumbers during installation or maintenance work.

+ Maintain records of all installation and repair work for future reference.

**Essential Skills**

+ 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation (Commercial or Residential).

+ OSHA 10 Certification.

+ EPA Certification.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficiency in mechanical, refrigeration, boiler systems, ductwork, and sheet metal.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with sheet metal installation.

+ Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

+ Ability to drive to job sites.

The company operates from 7 AM to 3:30 PM with a half-hour lunch break, and projects vary in size depending on the client and location.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
