We are seeking a Site Acquisition Specialist who oversees the site development process from identifying, evaluating, and securing candidate locations for wireless infrastructure projects. This includes all site development aligns with the qualification, design, leasing, zoning, regulatory approval, permitting and handoff to construction. This position is responsible for the completion of all tasks associated with the sites assigned to them.

Responsibilities

Execute site acquisition field work on both telecom new site builds as well as modification and other ancillary designs.

Identify and qualify the best available properties within a defined search ring.

Assemble and submit Site Candidate Information Packages for client approval.

Research local zoning and permitting codes or ordinances which may affect the project.

Obtain consent from property owners for site access, construction, and surveying activities.

Negotiate various types of leases or purchase agreements with direction of client.

Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Architecture and Engineer (A&E) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to ensure timely and compliant projects.

Communicate effectively with external stakeholders on any gating items that may affect the ability to move a project forward.

Complete and submit jurisdictional applications for zoning and permitting as required per scope of work and applicable codes.

Proactive problem solving the evolving jurisdictional requirements.

Ensure confidentiality of company information.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in site acquisition, real estate, wireless infrastructure, or telecom project coordination.

Proven leadership managing and conveying individual projects milestones and timelines to both client and project manager.

Accurately plot project milestones and related timelines based on communication and collaboration with other project stakeholders.

Ability to review and understand real estate documents and speak knowledgeably with both client and property owner (leases, amendments, easements, etc.).

Knowledgeable in reviewing and analyzing property and title documentation.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and site plans and ask relevant questions from other stakeholders for complete understanding of the project holistically.

Proven ability to adapt and reprioritize effectively in dynamic environments.

Experienced in cultivating professional relationships and leveraging negotiation strategies to influence and close deals.

Experienced in navigating zoning laws, permitting processes, and land use policies.

Exceptionally organized with a proactive approach to task management.

Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and project management software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing reports and strategic plans.

Highly responsible, resourceful, accurate, dependable, and self-motivated.

Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, including maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

The ability to embrace corporate values, understand the company mission, and exemplifies CCI leadership behaviors.

Shift is full-time Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. Must be flexible and willing to work outside normal business hours as necessary.

Additional Information

Approximately 25% travel may be required.

Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
