Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves operating various types of warehouse equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers, cranes, and RF scanners to facilitate the movement of materials.
  • Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as needed to ensure efficient loading and unloading of products.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to promote a safe working environment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the distribution center to optimize workflow.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely deliveries and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

Skills

  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including cherry pickers and cranes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory tracking.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physically demanding tasks.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety.
  • Excellent organizational skills for effective materials handling within a distribution center.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Needs commercial driver's license (all classes). Needs Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement or ability to be certified.
