Responsabilidades principales de los instaladores: alfombras, LVP.

(LVP)
Medicion y corte: Mida el espacio del piso y corte el LVP para que encaje

Fijacion: utilice adhesivos y sujetadores para fijar el LVP al piso.

Asegurarse de que este nivelado: compruebe que el LVP este recto y seguro

Quitar pisos viejos: saque el material del piso viejo y desechelo.

Limpieza: Limpiar y preparar la superficie donde se instalara el LVP

Aplicacion de acabado: aplique un acabado como tinte o lechada al LVP.
Calcular cantidades de material y areas de superficie.
Mezclar y aplicar compuestos como cemento, lechada y masilla.

Cortar materiales a partir de planos y bocetos.
Usar equipo de proteccion personal

(Alfombra)

Manipulacion de materiales:
Cargar y descargar materiales para pisos de camiones, trasladarlos al lugar de trabajo y transportarlos al area de instalacion.

Preparacion del sitio:
Limpiar y despejar el area de trabajo, retirar escombros, nivelar superficies y colocar cubiertas protectoras.

Asistencia de instalacion:
Mantener los materiales en su lugar, cortar y recortar las piezas del piso segun las instrucciones y ayudar con el proceso de instalacion.

Mantenimiento de herramientas:
Mantenimiento y limpieza de herramientas y equipos utilizados para la instalacion de pisos.

Limpieza:
Eliminacion del exceso de materiales, residuos y embalajes despues de la instalacion.

Primary Responsibilities For installers - Carpet , LVP .

(LVP)
Measuring and cutting: Measure the floor space and cut the LVP to fit

Attaching: Use adhesives and fasteners to attach the LVP to the floor
Ensuring it's level: Check that the LVP is straight and secure
Removing old flooring: Take out the old flooring material and dispose of it
Cleaning: Clean and prepare the surface where the LVP will be installed
Applying finish: Apply a finish like stain or grout to the LVP
Calculating material quantities and surface areas
Mixing and applying compounds like cement, grout, and mastic
Cutting materials based on blueprints and sketches
Using personal protective equipmentExplaining care: Instruct the owner on how to care for the LVP

(Carpet)
Stretch and tack the carpet into place, ensuring that it is smooth, even, and securely attached to the subfloor. Install padding and other materials as needed to improve insulation, soundproofing, or moisture resistance.

As a carpet fitter or floor layer, you'll: measure floor space to be covered and estimate the materials needed. remove old flooring and prepare the work area. fit underlay, carpets, tiles, vinyl or wooden flooring.

(Labor & Helpers)

This will be for both Carpet & LVP

Primary responsibility is to perform manual labor tasks like loading and unloading materials, preparing work areas, assisting skilled installers, and cleaning up debris, often requiring heavy lifting and physical exertion, while following instructions

Material handling:
Loading and unloading flooring materials from trucks, moving them to the worksite, and carrying them to the installation area.

Site preparation:
Cleaning and clearing the work area, removing debris, leveling surfaces, and laying down protective coverings.

Installation assistance:
Holding materials in place, cutting and trimming flooring pieces as directed, and helping with the installation process.

Tool maintenance:
Maintaining and cleaning tools and equipment used for flooring installation.

Cleanup:
Removing excess materials, debris, and packaging after installation.
