Project Assistant

Project Assistant Aston Carter is seeking a Project Assistant for a firm within the AEC industry. This person must have AEC experience to be considered for the role. Job Description The Administrative Assistant will provide support to project managers, architectural, civil personnel, and occasionally to the President of the firm. The role involves assisting in managing calls, formatting and preparing specifications for the bid process, and writing specifications. The assistant will also format and prepare preliminary engineering and environmental reports, create and coordinate routing to printers, maintain the website, initiate legal advertisements for bidding processes, and prepare A.I.A. Contracts and forms. Additionally, the assistant will support the office administratively and assist in creating marketing documents, running errands, coordinating special events, developing PowerPoint presentations, supervising the receptionist desk, making travel arrangements, registering for meetings, and handling calls. Typing, editing, filing, faxing, copying, shipping, and maintaining master files are also part of the role. Essential Skills Strong background in administrative support and clerical work.
