The Project Coordinator will be a key member of our operations team by supporting our Lead Technicians and Project Managers with project administrative duties. This position does not require proven experience but does require a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
What will you do:
Assist Leads and Project Managers with day-to-day project administrative functions.
Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, timecards, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
Coordinating, attending, and participating in collaborator meetings
Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Prepare vital presentation materials for meetings
Ensure project deadlines are met
Provide administrative support as needed
Developing project strategies with the Lead Technician, Superintendent, and Project Manager
Ensure projects adhere to requirements and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
Coordinate, manage, and make travel arrangements for technicians traveling to the project
Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities
Perform project accounting functions including handling the budget, tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk to the project.
Order, track, sort, inventory, and receive materials
Track labor production to ensure achievements are met
Collaborates with the entire organization
Primary liaison between Project Manager and Lead Technicians
Submit access requests for employees and testers
Handle all test results and maintain them in the project's as-built folder.
What you will need:
Proven experience in project coordination.
2 years of experience on construction projects.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Good understanding of building networks.
Ability to plan and prioritize team effort.
Good client management and building goodwill.
Capacity to empower, lead and boost morale of teams.
Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
Strong focus on quality and safety.
