Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will provide building enclosure and waterproofing services to clients. You will lead team efforts on forensic investigations, behaviour evaluations, condition assessments using non-destructive and destructive methods, and the development of waterproofing design. Working closely with cross-functional teams,

clients, and senior leadership, the Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in supporting operational

excellence, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to continuous improvement and business

development efforts.

Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects.

Perform building envelope assessments, including site investigations, field testing, and forensic analysis.

Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and recommendations for remediation.

Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk

management strategies.

Coordinate and communicate with clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to align

objectives, manage expectations, and ensure project requirements are met.

Monitor project progress and performance, tracking milestones, deliverables, and financials to identify

variances and implement corrective actions as needed.

Review architectural and structural plans for compliance with building envelope best practices and industry standards.

Conduct water infiltration testing, infrared thermography, air leakage testing, and other diagnostics.

Lead project meetings, facilitate decision-making, and maintain clear, organized documentation and

reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices in

project execution and team collaboration.

Support business development activities including proposal development, scope definition, and client

presentations.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to project management

processes, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a

related field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred.

7+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably within engineering, or

construction industries.

Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, and high-impact projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar, and Microsoft

Office Suite.

In-depth knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and regulatory

compliance.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams

and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Experience managing project financials, contracts, and vendor relationships.

Ability to travel to job sites and regional offices as needed.

Self-directed, highly organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a matrixed or

decentralized organization.

Travel Requirements

This position does require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities. However, occasional travel may be required, up to 40%, primarily for occasional off-site meetings, training sessions, or company events. Travel, when necessary, will be communicated in advance and aligned with business needs.

  • This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a

desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.

  • The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent

communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.

  • The role involves regular communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, both in person

and through virtual platforms.

  • The physical demands of the job may include occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of office

materials up to 15 pounds.
