What You'll Be Doing:
Develop detailed civil site drawings, including site plans, grading plans, demolition plans, utility plans, and more
Create and compare design alternatives considering limitations like typical sections, alignments, and cost
Perform essential calculations, including stormwater, hydrologic, and hydraulic, to ensure accurate construction documents
Utilize computer-assisted design programs and specified equipment to prepare engineering documents
Prepare conceptual site layouts and review local ordinances for compliance
Collect and complete permit documents, ensuring all requirements are met
Sign and seal drawings as necessary, adhering to professional standards
What You'll Need to be Considered:
Professional Engineer (PE) or EI certification
Proficiency with engineering principles and computer-design techniques
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD-Civil 3D and MS Office products
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and public agencies

Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering
