Project Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering; Professional Engineer status or progress toward licensure preferred
- 510 years of professional engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (including Civil 3D), hydrology, hydraulics, and software such as HydroCAD, EPA SWMM, or HEC-HMS
- Lead or assist in designing on-site wastewater disposal facilities, stormwater management, and site grading/drainage plans
- Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, memoranda, and reports for clients and permitting
- Collaborate with engineers, landscape architects, planners, and scientists to complete projects on time and within scope
- Ability to travel locally as needed for field work
