Structural Engineer - 100% Remote (EST/CST Time Zones Only)

We are seeking a highly skilledStructural Engineerto support nuclear power projects in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis for seismic and other load combinations in accordance with plant criteria.
- Design equipment and piping supports, structural frames, and foundations.
- Conduct piping and pipe support analysis per ASME Section III or B31.1 standards.
- Develop lifting assemblies, rigging, and crane designs using applicable codes.
- Apply AISC steel and ACI concrete design codes to structural designs.
- Execute component stress analysis using GTSTRUDL or ANSYS.
- Review plant impacts and evaluate existing structures for retrofit opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in structural design and analysis; 7+ years preferred.
- Strong understanding of AISC, ASCE, and ACI design codes.
- Experience with static structural analyses, structural dynamics, and seismic analysis.
- Proficiency in tools such as GTSTRUDL, ANSYS, and MathCAD.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a U.S.-accredited institution.
- Solid communication skills for technical documentation, reports, and specification
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $90.00/hr.
