JOB DESCRIPTION

Tank Welder

Action Group Staffing is looking for experienced Tank Welders to fabricate, repair, and modify tanks and vessels for fluid or ground storage. This role demands welding expertise, blueprint reading skills, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Pay: $21-$25+ DOE

Responsibilities of Tank Welder:

Weld, assemble, and repair tanks per blueprints/specifications

Use MIG, TIG, and stick welding in multiple positions

Inspect welds and ensure compliance with industry standards

Follow strict safety protocols and wear PPE

Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate work records

Requirements of Tank Welder:

Proven welding experience in multiple techniques and positions

Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols

Physical stamina for lifting, confined space, and varied positions

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Commitment to teamwork and safe work practices

Work Environment:

You'll work in various conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and potentially hazardous environments. PPE provided.
