Job Description


We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Corrosion Control Laborers to join our growing team. As a laborer in the corrosion control field, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of corrosion prevention measures for pipelines, structures, and other assets. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of corrosion control systems, including cathodic protection and coatings.
Perform physical labor, including hauling equipment, and operating hand and power tools.
Prepare surfaces for coating applications by cleaning, sandblasting, or applying chemical treatments as directed.
Assist in the application of protective coatings and linings to pipes, tanks, and other structures according to specifications.
Conduct basic tests and measurements to ensure the effectiveness of corrosion prevention methods.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety meetings and training sessions.
Report any safety hazards, incidents, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.
Work collaboratively with team members and adhere to project schedules and deadlines.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the corrosion control, construction, or industrial maintenance field is preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in corrosion control and construction.
Basic understanding of corrosion prevention methods and materials is advantageous.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors and senior team members.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.
