Mig Welder - 1st shift

We are recruiting for a company that is recognized worldwide as a premier leader in the manuafacture of sheet metal fabricating machinery. We offer a full range of American-made sheet metal tools including Automatic Folders, Hand Brakes, Shears, Slip Rolls, Cleat Benders, Notchers and Rotary Machines. $16.00-$17.00/hr. based on experience

• 1+ years MIG welding experience
• Knowledge of the welding process and equipment
• Ability to weld vertical and flat welds with a good penetration and quality appearance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Communicate effectively with other workers
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner
• Follow required process and procedure

Responsibilities

Talent will be responsible for welding carbon steel and pass a welding test of 80% or better to be considered. Successful candidate will also have the following:

• 1+ years MIG welding experience
• Knowledge of the welding process and equipment
• Ability to weld vertical and flat welds with a good penetration and quality appearance.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Communicate effectively with other workers
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner
• Follow required process and procedures

The experienced candidate will have experience in production welding as well as be able to follow safety protocol and wear proper PPE including auto darkening welding hood and steel toe boots.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
