BIM/VDC Project Controls Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for ensuring that projects are organized and executed consistently according to company standards and processes

• Research and provide support during the development and/or implementation of new processes, workflows, and guidelines for internal and external use

• Attend project meetings and help to lead training and workshops

• Coordinate with Architects/Engineers in weekly progress meetings

• Ensure BIM Standards are being incorporated correctly and that things are being submitted on time

• Provide Training and assistance to the project team

• Assist with drafting, modeling or BIM Coordination process if/as needed

Requirements

• Project Controls - VDC

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering or related degree

• +5 years of professional experience in BIM software and tools

• Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, ReCAP, Autodesk Construction Cloud is a must

• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D is highly desired

• Experience with Dynamo or other automation tools is a plus

• Explain two projects that demonstrate the use of the BIM or CAD components

• Strong communication skills, oral and written
