Right now, were looking for a skilled and detail-obsessed Painter / Spray Booth Finisher to bring their craft to our creative shop. If youve got experience with interior cabinetry and trim, and you thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting, this is your chance to shine. Youll be applying high-end finishes to custom furniture, exhibits, and architectural piecesturning raw surfaces into stunning works of art.
Key Responsibilities:
Prep surfaces including sanding, masking, and priming for flawless finishes
Apply lacquers, urethanes, conversion varnish, and other coatings using spray equipment and hand tools
Perform faux finishing techniques to achieve unique textures and visual effects
Operate and maintain spray booth equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure consistent color, texture, and finish quality across all components
Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Experience in finishing interior cabinetry and trim
Proficiency with lacquers, urethanes, conversion varnish, and faux finishing techniques
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
Ability to read and interpret finish specs and work orders
Skilled in using hand tools and spray equipment
Team-oriented with solid communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
