Position: Full Time

Compensation: Negotiable DOE & Qualifications

Job Description

Gardner Engineering is looking for a career-minded individual to work on our survey crew. We do a variety of projects to include: boundary surveys, ALTAs, topographic surveys, easements, right of ways, and construction layout.

Job Title: Land Surveyor
Applicant should be willing to assist survey crew chief in all manners including but not limited to; loading truck, managing supplies, operate computer and data collectors, send and receive emails, upload/download data, set up and maintain equipment, hammer wooden stakes, hubs, metal nails, and rebar into the ground. Daily tasks include topographic mapping, construction layout, setting property corners. This position provides excellent advancement opportunities.

Required Experience - Education and Skills
Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing, read and interpret maps, plat, and construction plans
Good Driving record and valid driver's license
Perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs
Possess sufficient stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural, or urban surroundings
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
