Fence Installer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fence Installer to join our team. As a fence installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fences and gates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, masonry, and landscape maintenance, and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

Duties

- Install new fences and gates for residential and commercial properties
- Repair and maintain existing fences and gates to ensure they are secure and visually appealing
- Work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and concrete
- Assemble and disassemble fencing sections as needed
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks, such as pruning and weeding
- Weld metal components of fences and gates
- Use power tools, such as saws and drills, to complete tasks efficiently
- Use hand tools, such as hammers and screwdrivers, to make precise and detailed cuts
- Construct and frame fences and gates using carpentry skills
- Install concrete footings and bases for fences and gates
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

Skills

- Proficiency in carpentry, including frame carpentry and wood finishing
- Experience with masonry and concrete finishing
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools
- Ability to weld metal components
- Experience with assembling and disassembling fencing sections
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make precise and detailed cuts
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and regulations
- Experience with building and installing fences and gates is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
